The Durham Academy Cavaliers are taking a road trip to face off against the Jordan Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Durham Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
Durham Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt St. Mary's on Friday. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Saints.
Durham Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Mary's between 18 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-21.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons on Thursday. Jordan came up short against Green Hope, falling 3-0.

Despite the defeat, Jordan saw an underclassman step up: freshman Evelyn Greene had 15 digs and one assist. Greene has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.
Durham Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Jordan, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.
