Intermountain Christian came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 20-7 margin over the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Wyatt Furze was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Furze was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in August of 2024.

In other batting news, Stratton Humphreys was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in September of 2024. David Reist was another key player, going 4-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Intermountain Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in four consecutive games.

Intermountain Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
