Soccer Recap: Manatee Comes Up Short

Manatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Braden River Pirates, falling 4-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Manatee it sure didn't stay that way.

Manatee's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Braden River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Manatee is taking a road trip to square off against Berkeley Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Braden River, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
