Basketball Game Preview: Floresville Tigers/Jaguars vs. Pleasanton Eagles

The Floresville Tigers/Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Pleasanton Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Floresville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 169 points over their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, Floresville strolled past Carrizo Springs with points to spare, taking the game 59-45.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Pearsall.

Floresville has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-16 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Pleasanton, their loss dropped their record down to 13-16.

Floresville was able to grind out a solid victory over Pleasanton in their previous meeting on January 7th, winning 44-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Floresville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
