East Limestone had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the James Clemens Jets. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.

Lara Looney was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looney wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kailey Matthews, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

East Limestone's record now sits at 12-5. As for James Clemens, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Limestone will head out to take on Priceville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games East Limestone has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for James Clemens, they are taking a road trip to challenge Florence at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
