Softball Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pioneer can now relate to. They fell 3-0 to the Lopez Lobos on Saturday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Diamondbacks were not able to get on the board.

Pioneer has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season. As for Lopez, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Pioneer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lopez, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sharyland at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
