Basketball Recap: Valley Heights Mustangs vs. Hanover Wildcats
Valley Heights lost against Hanover back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Valley Heights Mustangs received a blow as they fell 69-50 to the Hanover Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Wildcats are ranked 87th).
Braylon Meyn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hanover, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Meyn's third in a row with at least ten points. Garrett Martin was another key player, going 6 of 8 en route to 12 points and five boards.
