Baseball Recap: Noble & Greenough Drops Season-High Score on St. Sebastian's School

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Noble & Greenough). They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the St. Sebastian's School Arrows on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Noble & Greenough got a big performance out of Emilio Manz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave Manz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zack Roumain, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Noble & Greenough always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Noble & Greenough is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for St. Sebastian's School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Noble & Greenough will host Buckingham Browne & Nichols at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Sebastian's School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
