Soccer Recap: North Gaston Takes a Loss

North Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Kings Mountain Mountaineers, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Kings Mountain this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

North Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Kings Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8-3.

Looking ahead, North Gaston will be playing at home against Huss at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Gaston will be up against Huss' rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.43 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kings Mountain, they will welcome Stuart W. Cramer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
