Basketball Recap: Ninnekah Comes Up Short

Ninnekah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Maysville Warriors 83-23. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Warriors are ranked 173rd).

Ninnekah's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Maysville, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Ninnekah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 31-28 win against Paoli on the 31st. As for Maysville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-32 victory against Alex on the 30th.
