Soccer Game Preview: Indian Springs vs. Pell City

The Indian Springs Student will challenge the Pell City Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Pell City will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Indian Springs extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Student never let Shelby County get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Indian Springs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Shelby County are ranked 163rd).

Meanwhile, Clay-Chalkville kept up with Pell City until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Panthers blew past the Cougars 4-0. Pell City haven't had any issues with Clay-Chalkville recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Indian Springs' win bumped their record up to 12-2-2. As for Pell City, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
