Volleyball Game Preview: Independence 76ers vs. Leland Chargers

The Independence 76ers will challenge the Leland Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 20.

Independence's tournament run continued when they took on Westmoor on Saturday. The 76ers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1.

Leland not only won two weeks ago, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024. They blew past Evergreen Valley 3-0.

Leland not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Evergreen Valley to exactly 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.

Leland's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Independence was able to grind out a solid win over Leland in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the 76ers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
