Basketball Recap: Crosspoint Takes a Loss

Crosspoint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Summit Classical Christian School Archers, falling 79-24. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Archers are ranked 48th).

Leading Summit Classical Christian School to victory were Will Simon and Jake Gledhill. Simon dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards, while Gledhill went 9 of 11 on his way to 22 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Gledhill's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Gledhill, who posted nine points.

Crosspoint's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Crosspoint didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-34 defeat against Crescent on the 12th. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 90-38 victory against Chief Leschi on the 12th.
