Basketball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 52-43 to the West Park Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-41 on January 6th.

Cordova's record now sits at 1-15. As for West Park, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Cordova and West Park could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Cordova will challenge Inderkum at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday down 973 places (983 vs. 10). Meanwhile, West Park (ranked 387th) will meet Destiny Christian Academy (ranked 101st) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
