 Worcester Academy entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent with five consecutive wins  dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with  a   12-8  win over Varsity Opponent  on Saturday.
  Cole Hambly was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Hambly was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Cam Papetti was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Liam Daly, who  went 2-for-3 with a  triple and two  RBI.
 Worcester Academy pushed their record up to 2-0 with that  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Varsity Opponent, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 31-86-6 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worcester Academy will  take on Milton Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Somerset Academy South Homestead at 4:00  p.m. Somerset Academy South Homestead hasn't scored more than one runs for three games straight, a trend the  squad is eager to reverse.
