Basketball Recap: Scott County Central Comes Up Short

Scott County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 56-45 to the Leopold Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-46 back in December of 2024.

Scott County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Leopold, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Scott County Central will head out to take on Advance at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Leopold, they have already played their next matchup, a 45-36 victory against Bloomfield on the 14th.
