A.C. Reynolds is a perfect 10-0 against T.C. Roberson since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rockets will face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as A.C. Reynolds comes in on four and T.C. Roberson on five.
A.C. Reynolds is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Enka 48-21 on Friday. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Jets are ranked 287th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tyvon Patterson-Davis was his usual excellent self, rushing for 209 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 58 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 209 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Avery Hollifield was another key player, throwing for 174 yards and a pair of TDs on only 16 passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: A.C. Reynolds was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, T.C. Roberson got the win against Erwin on Friday by a conclusive 28-6. Considering the Rams have won five games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
T.C. Roberson found their leader in sophomore Karod Harris, who rushed for 89 yards and two scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. Harris' passing game has become a key predictor of the Rams' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise. A healthy portion of Harris' aerial production (96 yards to be exact) went to Tremayne Durant.
T.C. Roberson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lawson Banks and Chanten Wynn. Wynn got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
A.C. Reynolds' record is now 6-3. As for T.C. Roberson, their record now sits at an identical 6-3.
A.C. Reynolds strolled past T.C. Roberson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 27-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
