Volleyball Recap: Benson Tech Comes Up Short

Benson Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Roosevelt Roughriders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roughriders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Benson Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Benson Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Ida B. Wells on the 16th. As for Roosevelt, they will be playing at home against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Roughriders surely won't give up without a fight.
