Volleyball Game Preview: North Pontotoc Vikings vs. Kosciusko Whippets

The North Pontotoc Vikings will challenge the Kosciusko Whippets on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

North Pontotoc is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Amory.

North Pontotoc not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Amory between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Kosciusko waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Indians 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-21, 25-8.

Kosciusko's victory bumped their record up to 11-19. As for North Pontotoc, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

North Pontotoc took their victory against Kosciusko when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Whippets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
