Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Raiders vs. Male Bulldogs

The Trinity Raiders will take on the Male Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Trinity is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Trinity didn't have quite enough to beat Hancock County and fell 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by just one run.

Connor Hatfield made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.

Meanwhile, Male won against South Oldham on Thursday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Male beat South Oldham by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory made it two in a row for Male and bumps their season record up to 6-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
