Adding to the longest winning streak in Inland Valley this week, Rancho Verde beat Canyon Springs 48-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Rancho Verde took down the Cougars 48-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Hakeem Eubanks was the best receiver in the league this week as Valley View defeated JW North. Eubanks racked up 4 receptions for 91 yards. Jeffrey Trujillo-Wilcoxen helped Valley View's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 78 yards.

6-foot-2 quarterback Chandler Drachslin of Poly is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,319. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Eubanks. The Valley View star has 38 catches for 659 yards.

Next week's game between the Bears and the Eagles will feature a good passing match up as Drachslin will test his arm against Kylar Mercer's defensive ability.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Poly takes on Valley View. Dennis Brown's team is in first place, while Dan Lyons' team is in third place.

The league will see a high scoring game when the Bears and the Eagles face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Poly comes in having scored 248 this season, while Valley View has scored 206. The Bears scored 31 points last week as they bested Vista del Lago.

The Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,197 from 4,553. The advance stemmed from a 17-10 victory over the Huskies last week.
