After flying high against Little Rock Christian Academy last Thursday, Greenbrier came back down to earth. The Greenbrier Panthers fell just short of the Greenwood Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Greenbrier's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7-1. As for Greenwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.
Greenbrier will welcome Mount St. Mary Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greenbrier will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Greenwood, they will venture away from home to square off against Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
