It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact SouthWest Edgecombe can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Carrboro Jaguars on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, SouthWest Edgecombe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 501st, while Carrboro are ranked 160th).

SouthWest Edgecombe has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-2 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five contests. As for Carrboro, their win bumped their record up to 13-8-1.

As of now, neither SouthWest Edgecombe nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
