Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Road Wins for Madison

Madison won against Ridgevue last Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Madison Bobcats took down the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks 62-43. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Riverhawks are ranked 92nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Madison's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.4 points. As for Canyon Ridge, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8.

Madison will face off against Thunder Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canyon Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Rigby at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
