Burlington and Melrose are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Red Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Red Raiders at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Burlington has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Burlington gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a run and slipped past Watertown 5-4. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Melrose had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Wakefield Memorial on Friday.

Burlington's record now sits at 2-3. As for Melrose, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Burlington came out on top in a nail-biter against Melrose in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
