Soccer Game Preview: Mitchell vs. Polk County

Mitchell is 0-10 against Polk County since April of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mountaineers will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Mitchell has given up an average of 7 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Polk County entered their tilt with Owen on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Warhorses. Polk County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Owen with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kenley Savaia (2), Gabby Savaia, and Reeve Carroll.

Polk County's win bumped their record up to 7-1-4. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1.
