Softball Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Parkview's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Deerfield Demons on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Demons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Parkview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Deerfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Parkview will be playing in front of their home fans against South Beloit at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sobos have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Deerfield, they will venture away from home to face off against Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
