Volleyball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Jac-Cen-Del was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Milan last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the South Decatur Cougars on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-8.

Brynlie Simon paced Jac-Cen-Del's offense, picking up four kills. Simon got some help from Brooklyn Simon and her ten assists. Molli Weber controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jac-Cen-Del's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for South Decatur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Jac-Cen-Del will take on Hauser at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Decatur, they will challenge Edinburgh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
