Carrollton piles up the points against Sandy Valley

Recap: Carrollton Warriors vs. Sandy Valley Cardinals

The Carrollton Warriors stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Sandy Valley 51-12 at home. The win was just what Carrollton needed coming off of a 59-23 loss in their prior match.

Leading Carrollton to victory were Hillari Baker and Kylie Ujcich. Baker scored 12 points along with two steals, while Ujcich scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Ujcich is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Demi Leary, who scored five points along with two steals.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Sandy Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton will face off against Minerva at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Minerva is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Sandy Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Indian Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
