Volleyball Recap: Crawfordsville Comes Up Short

Crawfordsville came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos. The loss continues a trend for the Athenians in their meetings with the Bronchos: they've now lost four in a row.

Crawfordsville took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 25-21.

Crawfordsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crawfordsville will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they will face off against Guerin Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
