Davison waltzed into their game on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They put the hurt on the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Davison was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-13.

Darby Crystal paced Davison's offense, picking up six kills. Crystal got some help from Berklee Stimson and her 12 assists. Stimson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Davison's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Davison is set to square off against their familiar foe Lapeer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carman-Ainsworth will take on rival Powers Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
