Morgan Park Academy waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Ravens. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Morgan Park Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Morgan Park Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Morgan Park Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Lycee Francais de Chicago at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus will take on rival Wolcott College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
