Glass is a perfect 10-0 against Rustburg since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hilltoppers will venture away from home to take on the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Glass is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Western Albemarle, who was ranked third at the time (Glass was ranked 13th). The Hilltoppers came up short against the Warriors on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for Glass in their meetings with Western Albemarle: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Rustburg fell victim to Jefferson Forest and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers.

Glass' loss dropped their record down to 11-3-1. As for Rustburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Everything went Glass' way against Rustburg when the teams last played back in April, as Glass made off with an 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hilltoppers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
