With a playoff win on the line, Southlake Carroll rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Coronado Thunderbirds as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Dragons as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Southlake Carroll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Collins Alonzo led the charge by getting ten digs and five assists. That's the most assists Alonzo has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Emma Eyster, who had 13 assists and six digs.

Coronado's loss came despite strong showings from Difanny Soltero and Tiwa Opawumi. Soltero had 18 assists and seven digs, while Opawumi had 11 kills, six digs, and two blocks. Opawumi has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 17 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Natasha Hernandez, who had seven kills, three digs, and one block.
