Softball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 8-4 to the Aberdeen Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 36-31 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Aberdeen, with the victory, they broke their 21-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

While Columbus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
