Volleyball Recap: Peshtigo Takes a Loss

Peshtigo lost against Freedom back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Irish by a score of 2-1.

Camryn Brissette paced Peshtigo's offense, picking up nine kills. Brissette got some help from Skylyn Baxter and her ten assists. Neela Sotka and Athena Powers kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Lilli Big Eagle had a dynamite game For Freedom., getting 11 digs and three aces.

Peshtigo's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Freedom, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Peshtigo will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Algoma at 7:00 p.m. The Bulldogs are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Freedom, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran on the 11th.
