Softball Recap: Cedar Park Christian Takes a Loss

Cedar Park Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Klahowya on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Klahowya. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for Cedar Park Christian, who until this matchup were averaging 3.32 runs allowed.

Ella Meikle and Evoleht Stuhr stepped up to the plate in a big way. Meikle went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI, while Stuhr got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Adelaide Foster, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Cedar Park Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Klahowya, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-9-1.

As of now, neither Cedar Park Christian nor Klahowya have any future games scheduled.
