Baseball Recap: Bay Triumphs

The Bay Tornadoes beat the Liberty County Bulldogs 21-17 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tornadoes.

Isiah Knox-Brennan made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Knox-Brennan was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Camdyn Havel, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Grayson Gibson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

Bay has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Liberty County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bay will take on North Bay Haven Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Tornadoes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Liberty County, they will square off against Munroe at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
