Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Gets the Win

Notre Dame Prep proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 25) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Pontiac Phoenix 55-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Fighting Irish have posted since January 8th.

Notre Dame Prep now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Pontiac, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Prep will take on Center Line in a tournament on Tuesday. Notre Dame Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Center Line likes a good challenge. Pontiac does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
