Baseball Recap: Mountain Grove's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Mountain Grove ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Reeds Spring Wolves. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Trace Harker was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Bryson Berkshire was another key player, earning one RBI and two stolen bases.

Mountain Grove's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Reeds Spring, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Mountain Grove nor Reeds Spring have any future games scheduled.
