While McGill-Toolen's victory against Mobile Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. McGill-Toolen came out on top in a nail-biter against Mobile Christian on Saturday, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted against the Leopards since April 2, 2016.

McGill-Toolen's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mobile Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, McGill-Toolen and Mobile Christian will both be playing Foley the next time they take the field. Mobile Christian will head out to face Foley at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while McGill-Toolen will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
