Northridge had won four straight games and Sophia Carbajal did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Northridge Grizzlies came out on top against the Severance Silver Knights by a score of 44-35 thanks in part to Carbajal, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more boards the last 25 times she's played.

Clementine Darnell was another key player, putting up seven points and nine rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Severance, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Northridge has already played their next game, a 55-43 victory against Berthoud on the 22nd. As for Severance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-47 loss against Greeley Central on the 22nd.
