Baseball Recap: Lawrenceville School Takes a Loss

Lawrenceville School was the 6-0 winner over Blair Academy when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Red fell just short of the Bucs by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Big Red have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrenceville School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Blair Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lawrenceville School will face off against rival Peddie at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Blair Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Hun at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bucs 3.8, the Raiders 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
