Volleyball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

The Grant Pacers lost 3-0 to the Amador Buffaloes on Monday.

Grant was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Amador work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 26-24, 25-17.

Amador was led to victory by Macy Patterson and Payton Patterson. Macy had eight aces, while Payton had three aces. Those eight aces gave Macy a new career-high.

Grant's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Amador, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grant will venture away from home to challenge Destiny Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amador, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Modesto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
