Arnold was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Bre Clark did her best to prevent it. Clark turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Clark and Arnold will head out on the road to take on Holmes County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Clark took on the Blue Devils, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over eight innings pitched.
