Basketball Game Preview: Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida vs. Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers

Fond du Lac Ojibwe O hasn't had much luck against Mountain Iron-Buhl recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Ogichida will head out on the road to square off against the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers at 7:00 p.m.

Fond du Lac Ojibwe O is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Cook County on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Fond du Lac Ojibwe O came up short against Cook County, falling 70-44. The Ogichida were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-18.

Meanwhile, Mountain Iron-Buhl beat Cass Lake-Bena 78-68 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

This is the second loss in a row for Fond du Lac Ojibwe O and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Mountain Iron-Buhl, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

Things could have been worse for Fond du Lac Ojibwe O, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 103-88 loss to Mountain Iron-Buhl when the teams last played back in February of 2024.
