Softball Preview: South Rebels vs. North Rangers
The South Rebels will head out on the road to take on the North Rangers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, South came up short against West Geauga and fell 9-4.
Makayla Schneider was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Paige Janson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.
Meanwhile, North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to Mentor.
North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Credico, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Credico has hit this season.
North's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for South, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
