Volleyball Recap: Holly Takes a Loss

Holly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Allison Rushton paced Holly's offense, picking up four kills. Rushton got some help from Makynna Neugebauer and her ten assists. Lillian Parker controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Holly has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Bethune on the 13th. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wiley on the 16th.
