Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Knights vs. Lompoc Braves
St. Joseph lost to Lompoc last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Knights came out on top against the Braves by a score of 6-1.
Mason Majewski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, St. Joseph let Erik Furness and Dom Hernandez run wild. Furness went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Hernandez scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave Hernandez a new career-high. Thomas Jay Dugger also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
