Basketball Recap: Meade's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Meade won the last time they faced Northeast and things went their way on Friday too. The Meade Mustangs came out on top against the Northeast Eagles by a score of 45-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Northeast lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nadia Sogbo, who posted 14 points. Sogbo has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Madison Walter also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Meade's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Northeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Meade has already played their next game (against North East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northeast will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North County at 6:00 p.m.
